Athena - Planet: Asteroid Belt
Celeste Korsholm <[email protected]> In Greek Mythology, Athena was born from the head of Zeus to become the protectress of Athens and the goddess of war, practical wisdom and handicrafts. She is commonly depicted as a female warrior with armour, helmet, shield and spear, carrying an owl, a symbol of wisdom. She counselled the Greek heros like Perseus and Odysseus. Athena fought against the misuse of power on Maldec, a planet once orbiting between Mars and Jupiter, until it was destroyed and became the present asteroid belt. She brings her experience of defending truth and justice, to the work of the Planetary Council. |
